Description

Axis & Allies War Chest is the first in a new line of 'Warchest' apps - designed to help players of the popular war game series Axis & Allies track IPC's or game money.
Using a user friendly display, this app allows players to create and name a game then select the countries players will be using. Once the game is created players can add or subtract IPC's anytime. All information is automatically saved so players can pick up where they left off when concluding a game and no longer wonder what each player had for IPC's.
This version is designed to be played with classic versions of the game as well as Global 1940.

The app has been rewritten from the ground up and the overall experience should be smoother and quicker, we've also changed the name to Axis & Allies Warchest to bring the app in line with the future plans for this and the rest of the 'Warchest' apps we have planned.
Following user feedback the country order has been tweaked to match the play order in the board game.
We've added in the option for you to show your support for the app by unlocking the 'General's Edition'. This single IAP will promote you to the rank of General (with a shiny badge to boot) and unlock the rest of the extra features we've added.
Warchest General's will have more slots to save their games in and will have access to the Objectives screen which will allow you to keep track of all in game objectives (as well as the associated IPC bonuses).
We also want to continue to reward our loyal supporters and so this single IAP will also unlock ALL future features which we have planned including round markers, mobilisation charts and battle calculators.
Following feedback from users the Country list has now been re-ordered to follow the same order used in the board game.
The Objectives screen is reached from the main Bank screen and lists the game objectives (and IAP rewards) available for each Country - you can select any objectives that have been reached and the IAP is automatically added to the correct country.

Great companion for Global 1940!

I just used this for the first time while playing global 1940 because I didn't have my cardboard IPC tracker in the box. It's a great substitute. Pretty easy to use. My only complaint is the IPC tracker is a little confusing. You have your IPCs in the bank which I understand, but then you have the second counter below it which you can add or subtract from the bank. I don't know it just seems like it could be laid out more easily. Maybe have a counter with your IPCs in the bank and another keeping track of your total territorial value since those two numbers can sometimes be different from each other. I don't know maybe I just haven't figured out how to use it the right way yet. Either way I like it. I REALLY like the objectives tracker. Looking those up in the rule book is a pain!
By the way, ignore the poor ratings because those are from people who can't read and figure out that this is a companion app BEFORE they download it..
I hope you come out with more updates and features soon!

Why so negative..?

Gotta hand it to this app. For those who actually play A&A 1940, you know that no means to keep track of current banks exists within the game, forcing you to resort to paper, or for gosh sake Monopoly money. This app is the solution. Thanks for the app 🙂

Horrible

I did not even have the app downloaded 30sec before the app had already asked for money 3 times. I don’t have a problem supporting an app, however I would at least like to see what the app is.. every time you click on a different tab a window pops up asking you to upgrade and if you click “later” it reminds you AGAIN to “remember the app developers” I deleted the app after 2mins of this.
